Thirty Things that Grace Cannot Do – Part VIII

“From the Heart” teaching by Drs. Rodney & Adonica Howard-Browne.

16. Grace cannot force God to continue blessing any man who sins.

All these curses shall come upon you and shall pursue you and overtake you till you are destroyed, because you do not obey the voice of the Lord your God, to keep His commandments and His statutes which He commanded you. 46 They shall be upon you for a sign [of warning to other nations] and for a wonder, and upon your descendants forever. 47 Because you did not serve the Lord your God with joyfulness of [mind and] heart [in gratitude] for the abundance of all [with which He had blessed you]. Deuteronomy 28:45-47 AMP

Because the blessings of God are activated through obedience, they can be deactivated through disobedience. God is exceedingly gracious and generous with us, but we have the power to open or close the door to that blessing. Just as God will not violate your free will – in the same way He cannot continue to bless you while you continue to sin.

17. Grace cannot make the sins of the saved different from the sins of the unsaved.

Everyone who commits (practices) sin is guilty of lawlessness; for [that is what] sin is, lawlessness (the breaking, violating of God’s law by transgression or neglect — being unrestrained and unregulated by His commands and His will). 1 John 3:4 AMP

Sin is sin. Sin is the same if you are a sinner or a believer. If you are a believer, your sin is no different to the sin of an unbeliever – it is no better and no worse. Just because you become a follower of Christ and your sins were forgiven, it doesn’t mean that you can continue on in that sin with impunity (exempt from punishment) or without repentance. Neither does it mean that you cannot be forgiven if you sincerely repent.

Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. John 8:34 NKJV

For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning. 21 For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them. 22 But it has happened to them according to the true proverb: “A dog returns to his own vomit,” and, “a sow, having washed, to her wallowing in the mire.” 2 Peter 2:20-22 NKJV

18. Grace cannot condemn sinners and excuse saints who commit the same sins.

But why do you judge your brother? Or why do you show contempt for your brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. 11 For it is written: “As I live, says the Lord, Every knee shall bow to Me, And every tongue shall confess to God.” 12 So then each of us shall give account of himself to God. Romans 14:10-12 NKJV

Believers are saved from sin, in order to walk in righteousness. We will ALL stand before the Judgment Seat of Christ

If we continue to sin, we will be held accountable before God and will have to give an account to Him. When we sow to the flesh, we will reap corruption; therefore we must rather choose to sow to the Spirit so we may reap His life.

Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. 8 For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. Galatians 6:7-8 NKJV

For God shows no partiality [undue favor or unfairness; with Him one man is not different from another]. Romans 2:11 AMP

But he who does wrong will be repaid for what he has done, and there is no partiality. Colossians 3:25 NKJV

When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory. 5 Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. 6 Because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience, 7 in which you yourselves once walked when you lived in them. Colossians 3:4-7 NKJV

19. Grace cannot operate in the life of a free moral agent without his consent.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. 18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. 21 But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.” John 3:16-21 NKJV

The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9 NKJV

God has already sent Jesus and Jesus has already paid the price for sin. The Father’s desire is for EVERYONE to be saved, to receive eternal life, and to live with Him forever. He has laid the table and prepared a feast, but He will not force us to sit or to eat. WE must choose to receive His grace.

And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely. Revelation 22:17 NKJV

Twelve Duties We Have Regarding the Word of God – Part III

“From the Heart” teaching by Drs. Rodney & Adonica Howard-Browne.

8. The Word of God is to be desired

1 Peter 2:1-3 AMP – So be done with every trace of wickedness (depravity, malignity) and all deceit and insincerity (pretense, hypocrisy) and grudges (envy, jealousy) and slander and evil speaking of every kind. 2 Like newborn babies you should crave (thirst for, earnestly desire) the pure (unadulterated) spiritual milk, that by it you may be nurtured and grow unto [completed] salvation, 3 Since you have [already] tasted the goodness and kindness of the Lord.

Psalms 119:72 NKJV – The law of Your mouth is better to me Than thousands of coins of gold and silver.

Psalms 119:92-93 NKJV – Unless Your law had been my delight, I would then have perished in my affliction. 93 I will never forget Your precepts, For by them You have given me life.

Psalms 119:97 NKJV – Oh, how I love Your law! It is my meditation all the day.

Psalms 119:103 NKJV – How sweet are Your words to my taste, Sweeter than honey to my mouth!

Psalms 119:127 NKJV – Therefore I love Your commandments More than gold, yes, than fine gold!

Psalms 119:174 NKJV – I long for Your salvation, O Lord, And Your law is my delight.

9. The Word of God is to be accepted without change

Deuteronomy 4:2 AMP – You shall not add to the word which I command you, neither shall you diminish it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.

Deuteronomy 12:32 AMP – Whatever I command you, be watchful to do it; you shall not add to it or diminish it.

Proverbs 30:6 AMP – Add not to His words, lest He reprove you, and you be found a liar.

Revelation 22:18-19 NKJV – For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; 19 and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

10. The Word of God is to be preached

Mark 16:15 NKJV – And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.

Romans 10:14 NKJV – How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?

2 Timothy 4:2 AMP – Herald and preach the Word! Keep your sense of urgency [stand by, be at hand and ready], whether the opportunity seems to be favorable or unfavorable. [Whether it is convenient or inconvenient, whether it is welcome or unwelcome, you as preacher of the Word are to show people in what way their lives are wrong.] And convince them, rebuking and correcting, warning and urging and encouraging them, being unflagging and inexhaustible in patience and teaching.

11. The Word of God is to be taught

Deuteronomy 6:7 AMP – You shall whet and sharpen them so as to make them penetrate, and teach and impress them diligently upon the [minds and] hearts of your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down and when you rise up.

Deuteronomy 11:19 AMP – And you shall teach them to your children, speaking of them when you sit in your house and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you rise up.

Matthew 28:19-20 NKJV – Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

12. The Word of God is to be believed

Mark 1:14-15 NKJV – Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, 15 and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.”

Acts 4:4 NKJV – However, many of those who heard the word believed; and the number of the men came to be about five thousand.

Romans 1:16 NKJV – For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.

Romans 10:17 NKJV – So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

The Lord Takes Pleasure in the Prosperity of His Servants – Part III

“From the Heart” teaching by Drs. Rodney & Adonica Howard-Browne.

Let those who favor my righteous cause and have pleasure in my uprightness shout for joy and be glad and say continually, Let the Lord be magnified, Who takes pleasure in the prosperity of His servant. Psalm 35:27 AMP

The Lord takes pleasure in the prosperity of His servants. Under both the Old and New Covenants, the Lord has promised great riches and blessings to those who will serve and obey Him. God cannot bless those who do not serve Him, but He is abundantly generous with those who consistently give Him a place of honor in their day to day lives. Let’s look at what the Lord has told us to do and not to do and also what He has promised to us if we do what He tells us to do from Leviticus 26:1-17 and Deuteronomy 28:1-14:

Do not:
Do not set up or worship idols – do not worship or trust in your money or your possessions.
Do not follow other gods or serve them – nothing else should be more important in your life other than the Lord and serving Him.
Do not turn aside from any of His commands – to the right or to the left.
Do not reject His decrees and abhor His laws or fail to carry out all His commands.
God considers all these things a violation of covenant.

Do:
Fully obey the Lord your God.
Observe His Sabbaths – make time for God – to spend in His word and His presence.
Have reverence for His sanctuary – go to Church, fellowship with believers, and give your time and money to build the Church – both your local Church and also God’s Kingdom here on the earth.
Pay attention to the commands of the Lord your God.
Carefully follow the commands of the Lord your God.
Walk in his ways.

If you obey and do:
The Lord will grant you abundant prosperity – a surplus of prosperity.
The Lord will look on you with favor and make you fruitful and increase your numbers.
The Lord your God will set you high above all the nations on earth.
ALL these blessings will come upon you and accompany you.

The Lord will give you your own land and bless you in it. You will be blessed in the city and blessed in the country – no matter where you are or what you do for a living, the Lord will bless you in it. You will be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out – you will be blessed at all times and in every direction. The Lord will make you the head, not the tail – the Lord will put you in positions of leadership, authority and influence. The Lord will make you be above only and not beneath – you will always be at the top, never at the bottom.

The Lord will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send you rain on your land in its season. The Lord will open the heavens to bless the work of your hands. The Lord will send a blessing on everything you put your hand to.

The Lord will grant you abundant prosperity – a surplus of prosperity – on everything that is yours and everything that you produce – in the land he promised to you. The ground will abundantly yield its crops and the trees of the field their fruit. The fruit of your womb will be blessed – the Lord will bless you with children and He will also bless and prosper them. The crops of your land will be blessed – your livelihood and your labor will be fruitful. The young of your livestock – the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks – will be blessed. Everything you own will be blessed and will increase.

Your basket and your kneading trough will be blessed – every aspect of your labor will produce and be blessed and fruitful. The Lord will send a blessing on your barns – you will have more than enough. Your threshing will continue until grape harvest and the grape harvest will continue until planting, and you will eat all the food you want – you will always have more than enough. You will still be eating last year’s harvest when you will have to move it out to make room for the new.

You will lend to many nations, but will borrow from none – you will never lack, you will never have to beg for help, but you will always be in a position to help and to bless others.

You will live in safety in your house and in your land. The Lord will grant peace in the land. You will lie down – you will have peace and rest – and no one will make you afraid. The Lord will protect you from anything that could hurt you or threaten you or threaten your safety, security and peace.

You will have victory over your enemies. You will pursue your enemies, and they will fall by the sword before you. Five of you will chase a hundred, and a hundred of you will chase ten thousand, and your enemies will fall by the sword before you. The Lord will grant that the enemies who rise up against you will be defeated before you. They will come at you from one direction but flee from you in seven.

He will deliver you. He has not delivered you so you can be a slave again. His plan for you is that you live in peace and freedom, with no one to control, abuse, or oppress you. He is the Lord your God, who brought you out of “Egypt” – out of slavery and bondage to the world and its systems. He has brought you, and will continue to bring you, out of the bondage of sin and fear. You will never again be slaves to any other systems or nations. He will break the bars of your yoke and enable you to walk with your head held high.

The Lord will keep His covenant with you. The Lord will be with you. He will put His dwelling place among you and will be happy to be with you. He will walk among you and be your God, and you will be His people. The Lord will establish you as His holy people, as He promised you on oath. Then all the peoples on earth will see that you are called by the name of the Lord, and they will fear you.

These are the blessings you can expect if you obey your Father God and walk in His ways!

The Law is made for the Lawless

Everyone who commits (practices) sin is guilty of lawlessness; for [that is what] sin is, lawlessness (the breaking, violating of God’s law by transgression or neglect — being unrestrained and unregulated by His commands and His will). 1 John 3:4 AMP

Now we recognize and know that the Law is good if anyone uses it lawfully [for the purpose for which it was designed], 9 Knowing and understanding this: that the Law is not enacted for the righteous (the upright and just, who are in right standing with God), but for the lawless and unruly, for the ungodly and sinful, for the irreverent and profane, for those who strike and beat and [even] murder fathers and strike and beat and [even] murder mothers, for manslayers, 10 [For] impure and immoral persons, those who abuse themselves with men, kidnapers, liars, perjurers — and whatever else is opposed to wholesome teaching and sound doctrine 11 As laid down by the glorious Gospel of the blessed God, with which I have been entrusted. 1 Timothy 1:8-11 AMP

The Law of God is not enacted for the righteous, but for sinners. Through the blood of Jesus, we are forgiven and our sins are washed away. From then on, we serve Him in righteousness and we don’t go back and deliberately sin again. At least, that is what we should do. There is a heaven and there is a hell. Father God does NOT want anyone to go to hell, so He gave us laws and boundaries so that we can know and be aware and avoid the trap of sin and also death and hell.

The Law of God was made for these classes of people:

1. Lawless – Greek: anomos – which means: contempt for law; no rule of moral conduct. Translated as “lawless” (1Timothy 1:9); “without law” (1Corinthians 9:21); “unlawful” (2Peter 2:8); “transgressor” (Mark 15:28; Luke 22:37); and “wicked” (Acts 2:23; 2Thessalonians 2:8).

2. Disobedient – Greek: anupotaktos – which means: not under subjection; insubordinate; undisciplined. Translated “disobedient” (1Timothy 1:9); “not put under” (Hebrews 2:8); and “unruly”

3. Ungodly – Greek: asebes – irreligious; irreverent.

1 Peter 4:17-18 KJV – For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? 18 And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?

2 Peter 3:7 KJV – But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

Jude 4 KJV – For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

Jude 14-15 KJV – And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, 15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.

4. Sinners – Greek: hamartolos – transgressors of law. Translated “sinner” and “sinful”.

Mark 8:38 KJV – Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.

5. Unholy – Greek: anosios – totally depraved; the utter opposite of holiness within and without.

6. Profane – Greek: bebelos – heathenish; wicked; not fit to attend public worship.

1 Timothy 4:7 AMP – But refuse and avoid irreverent legends (profane and impure and godless fictions, mere grandmothers’ tales) and silly myths, and express your disapproval of them. Train yourself toward godliness (piety), [keeping yourself spiritually fit].

2 Timothy 2:16 AMP – But avoid all empty (vain, useless, idle) talk, for it will lead people into more and more ungodliness.

Hebrews 12:16 AMP – That no one may become guilty of sexual vice, or become a profane (godless and sacrilegious) person as Esau did, who sold his own birthright for a single meal.

7. Patricides – Greek: patraloas – those who strike or slay their father.

8. Matricides – Greek: metraloas – those who strike or slay their mother.

9. Murderers – Greek: androphonois – those who take any human life contrary to law.

10. Whoremongers – Greek: pornois – Fornicator; whoremonger; male prostitutes; libertines – persons who are morally or sexually unrestrained

11. Sexual perverts – Greek: arsenokoitais – sodomite; abusers, who defile themselves with mankind; those guilty of unnatural sexual practices.

12. Menstealers – Greek: andrapodistais – kidnappers; enslaver – those who steal slaves and sell and buy them, or who hold men for ransom.

13. Liars – Greek: pseustais – saying for truth what is known to be false.

John 8:44 ERV – Your father is the devil. You belong to him. You want to do what he wants. He was a murderer from the beginning. He was always against the truth. There is no truth in him. He is like the lies he tells. Yes, the devil is a liar. He is the father of lies.

1 John 1:10 NKJV – If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.

1 John 2:4 NKJV – He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

1 John 2:22 NKJV – Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son.

14. Perjurers – Greek: epiorkois – those who lie under oath.

15. Those guilty of any vice contrary to sound doctrine.

Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. Galatians 5:19-21 NKJV

The Power of God Unto Salvation

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. Romans 1:16 NKJV

You need never to be ashamed of the Truth. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the Truth. The Gospel is also the POWER –the dunamis – to save, heal and deliver. It shines like a light through the darkness, defeating the work of the enemy and bringing truth, freedom and deliverance wherever it is proclaimed! The Greek word “dunamis” means: power; mighty work; strength; miracle; might; virtue; mighty; force (literally or figuratively); miraculous power; inherent power. When we preach the truth of the Gospel, mighty power is released to do miracles. Mark 16:20 says that when you preach the Gospel, the Lord will work with you and confirm the Word with signs following!

The Holy Spirit gives us the power or the boldness to be a witness for Jesus Christ. There is power in the Gospel and power in you by the Holy Spirit – more than enough power to get the job done. When you have the power in you and when you have the power in your mouth through the preaching of the Gospel, you need not be afraid or ashamed to boldly proclaim it! It’s not by your efforts, but by God’s power as you simply obey and speak. When you boldly preach the Gospel, supernatural things begin to happen.

The Gospel Is God’s Power:

1. To produce the new birth:

Having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever. 1 Peter 1:23 NKJV

2. To bring salvation:

…the gospel of Christ… is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. Romans 1:16

In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise. Ephesians 1:13 NKJV

3. To reveal and impart righteousness:

For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.” Romans 1:17 NKJV

4. To impart grace:

But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God. Acts 20:24 NKJV

5. To establish people in the faith:

Now to Him who is able to establish you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery kept secret since the world began 26 but now made manifest, and by the prophetic Scriptures made known to all nations, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, for obedience to the faith. Romans 16:25-26 NKJV

6. To generate faith:

So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17 NKJV

7. To set free:

Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. 32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” 33 They answered Him, “We are Abraham’s descendants, and have never been in bondage to anyone. How can You say, ‘You will be made free’?” 34 Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. 35 And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. 36 Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed. John 8:31-36 NKJV

8. To nourish spiritual life and growth:

As newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby. 1 Peter 2:2 NKJV

9. To cleanse the church:

That He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word. Ephesians 5:26NKJV

10. To search lives and hearts and expose the hidden things:

For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 13 And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account. Hebrews 4:12-13 NKJV

11. To make men heirs and partakers of Christ:

That the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ through the Gospel. Ephesians 3:6 NKJV

12. To impart immortality:

But has now been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, who has abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the Gospel. 2 Timothy 1:10 NKJV

13. To bring peace:

How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? 15 And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things!” Romans 10:14-15 NKJV

14. To be a powerful weapon against darkness and the lies of the enemy:

And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Ephesians6:17 NKJV

15. To give fullness of blessings:

But I know that when I come to you, I shall come in the fullness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ. Romans 15:29 NKJV

The empowering of the Holy Spirit – Rodney Howard Browne

These are a couple of things that are going over in my spirit today from what is happening in this in America and the mass revival that is occurring in the body of Christ. I have to say this is absolutely wonderful the move of God that where smack dab in the middle of. I have so much to say about everything, God told Pastor What would occur in these last days “ That ministries all over the world would begin a work and another will finish it and combination and unity will occur then anytime else in the History of this planet ”, more or less of what he said. There will be a continuation of the move of God until Jesus comes to gather his church together and until that happens then we must occupy until he comes. The days are evil and we need to redeem the time we have on this earth. Jesus said, “The harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few, so pray to the lord of the Harvest that he would bring forth laborers.”

The empowering of the Holy Spirit is needed in each and every believers life not only to live a victorious life over sin that does happen in are life once where Born-Again. Romans declares sin has know more dominion over us, Paul wrote in Ephesians where seated with Christ in heavenly places all things are under are feet. But Jesus said we shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost has come upon you and you shall be witness unto me. Well what is a witness? What did we witness? Who do we witness too? Well a witness is by definition to see, hear, or know by personal presence and perception: to witness an accident. An individual who, being present personally sees or perceives a thing; a beholder, spectator, or eyewitness. So ok great now we know what a witness is ok, well as a Christian what then did we witness? The fact that Jesus came into are hearts by faith and confession towards the fact that he died for us and rose again. Where a new creation in Christ Jesus all things have passed away all things have become new. Where set free from this present darkness and brought into This Present Glory, where sin abounds even more grace abounds. That is what we have witnessed and God has made it available to every person on this earth. Salvation Jesus Said, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’

What we have witnessed the reality of the power of God at work with in us. So now its comes down to the nitty-gritty who do we then witness too? The lost of course those who haven’t called on the name of the lord the Bible declares there is appointed to every man once to die then the Judgment so in turn God is willing that none should parish but all should come to the knowledge of the truth where called to preach the gospel not suggest or hint at it but to preach to every creature He said to us, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.” So there it is the reason for the season, where to proclaim this Good News its God commandment to love one another so if we just love one another will lead men to repentance. This Great Awakening Starts in us then its moves through us as where obedient to the word and Spirit of God. This nations with-in a nation will be shaken to its very core and its starts with us. –Chris P.

THE WORKING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

rodney howard browne

And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.  14 If you ask anything in My name, I will do it. 15 “If you love Me, keep My commandments.  16 And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever — 17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.  18 I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you. 19 “A little while longer and the world will see Me no more, but you will see Me. Because I live, you will live also.  20 At that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you.  21 He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.” 22 Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him, “Lord, how is it that You will manifest Yourself to us, and not to the world?” 23 Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.  24 He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father’s who sent Me. 25 “These things I have spoken to you while being present with you.  26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. John 14:13-26 NKJV

“But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me. John 15:26 NKJV

Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you.

8 And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:  9 of sin, because they do not believe in Me;  10 of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more;  11 of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged. 12 “I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now.  13 However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.  14 He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you.  15 All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He will take of Mine and declare it to you. John 16:7-15 NKJV

Jesus a man’s man

Jesus was also a man’s man. If He walked in the door, your head

would turn; and when He spoke, He would get your attention.

People sometimes say to me, “Rodney just be nice. Just be like

Jesus.” I say, “Man, you haven’t read about Jesus!” He was

straight; He was right down the line with His message. There was

no gray area with Him; it was either white or black. He was merciful

to sinners, but to religious people His words cut like a knife.

For example, we see His incredible mercy in the Garden of

Gethsemene when Peter chopped off the ear of Malchus, the high

priest’s servant. Malchus was trying to arrest Jesus. But rather

than treating him as an enemy, Jesus bent right down, picked up

the ear, stuck it back on, and healed him.

On the other hand, when He was dealing with religious people —

the Pharisees and the Sadducees, the “wouldn’t sees” and the

“couldn’t sees” — He was extremely blunt. In Matthew 23 He

called them a generation of vipers. He called them blind leading

the blind and white-washed sepulchers, full of dead men’s

bones. He said, If you make any converts, (which He doubted)

you’re gonna make them twice the devils of hell that you are

(Matthew 23:27, author’s paraphrase). That’s Jesus!

We have this religious idea of what we think Jesus is like. But as

you go through the gospels, you begin to see Him as He really is!

If He walked the earth today, He would run cross-grain with religious

tradition. Religious tradition tries to keep Him on the cross

or in the crib. Jesus would be persecuted by many of today’s religious

leaders.

Take, for example, casting out demons. The religious Pharisees

and Sadducees told Jesus that He was of the devil and that He

cast out devils by the devil. Religious people are still saying that

today. So you’re in good company when people accuse you of the

same thing!

Many churches make the world think that whenever you come

around God, you’ve got to be morbid and sad. Too many religious,

traditional churches put people off from serving Jesus

because they have no life, no joy. But Jesus said, I am come that

they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly

(John 10:10). That’s the Jesus of the gospels; in fact,

that’s the Jesus of the whole Bible!

By One Man’s Sin Death Reigned by Another’s Obedience Life Came

“From the Heart” teaching by Drs. Rodney & Adonica Howard-Browne.

Foundational Scripture: Romans 5:12-19

V12         Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for all that all have sinned.

V13         (For until the law sin was in the world; but sin is not imputed when there is no law.

V14         Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam’s transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.

V15         But not as the offence, so also is the free gift.  For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.

V16         And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.

V17         For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)

V18         Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.

V19         For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

As born-again believers, it is very important that we understand exactly what transpired at Calvary’s Cross.  Jesus was paying the price for the sins of the world.  He was the second Adam and He came to get back what the first Adam lost.  When Adam sinned and committed high treason, he bowed his knee to the devil and death reigned.  For this reason Jesus had to pay the price, being obedient to die on the cross.  Even as by Adam’s disobedience death reigned, so by Jesus’ obedience, life came.  He didn’t do it for Himself, but for us.  He went to the cross as 100% Man and 100% God.

Phillipians 2:5-8

V5           Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

V6           Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God.

V7           But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

V8           And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

He was despised for us – He bore our grief – He carried our sorrows – He was wounded for our transgressions.  He was bruised for our iniquities – He was chastised in order to obtain peace for us – He

bore stripes so that we could be healed.  He bore the iniquity for us all – He was oppressed – He was afflicted – He was cut off from the land of the living.  He was stricken for the transgression of His people –

He made His grave with the wicked and the rich man in His death.  He was bruised and put to grief by God’s pleasure for us – He was made an offering for sin.

Isaiah 53:1-10

V1           Who hath believed our report? And to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?

V2           For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground; he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.

V3           He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief; and we hid as it were our faces from him: he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

V4           Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows; yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

V5           But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

V6           All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

V7           He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth; he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.

V8           He was taken from prison and from judgment; and who shall declare his generation? For he was cut off out of the land of the living; for the transgression of my people was he stricken.

V9           And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.

V10         Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief; when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.

Adam, by His disobedience, went to the tree of knowledge of good and evil and brought death upon mankind.  Jesus, by His obedience, went to the cross and died, resulting in eternal life for us.  Jesus took your and my place.  By His obedience we have life.  Adam’s disobedience was a selfish act, motivated by sin, resulting in death.  Jesus’ obedience was an unselfish act, motivated by a love that knows no limits.  Jesus’ act of unselfish love resulted in our eternal life.

WORK OUT YOUR SALVATION

“From the Heart” teaching by Drs. Rodney & Adonica Howard-Browne.

Philippians 2:12-16  (NKJ)

12 Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling;

13 for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.

14 Do all things without complaining and disputing,

15 that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world,

16 holding fast the word of life, so that I may rejoice in the day of Christ that I have not run in vain or labored in vain.

Some people believe that your salvation is completely God’s responsibility and others believe that it comes by your own efforts. However we can see from God’s Word that although He did all the hard work, it is still up to us to allow that work of salvation to take place in our lives. God will do great things in us—with our cooperation.

From the moment that you accept God’s incredible blessings of grace and mercy that come to us by the sacrifice of His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ and you receive Him as your Lord and Savior, you are born-again! You are saved from hell, eternal damnation, and all of the penalties of sin. Your spirit is made brand-new and you receive eternal life immediately. There will never be any death for your spirit again. Your body will eventually cease to exist in its present form when your spirit leaves your body and your body dies, but your spirit—the real you—will live on in God’s presence.

Your soul (mind, will, intellect and emotions) and your body are not instantly redeemed at the moment you were saved as your spirit was. That is the salvation you have to work out “with fear and trembling.” When you were born-again, it was not the end of your salvation, but the beginning. Fortunately for us, God is working in us to bring about His will and His good pleasure. All we have to do is yield to His working and submit ourselves to His will.

Titus 2:11-14  (NKJ)

11 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men,

12 teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age,

13 looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ,

14 who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.

In order to inherit the salvation of our body and soul, we must depart from sin and ungodliness and we must live soberly, righteously and godly, keeping our eyes and hearts open for Jesus’ return and eager to do what is good.

Romans 12:1-2  (NKJ)

1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.

2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

If you present your body unto the Lord as a living sacrifice, then you will not be likely to yield it to the lusts of your flesh—which is the root of all your sin problems. Your flesh desires the pleasure of sin, but unfortunately sin has very unpleasurable consequences, both here and in eternity. The only way you can cease conforming to the world and begin to be transformed and recognize God’s will for you is to renew your mind to the Word of God.

You did not earn the salvation of your spirit—it was a free gift purchased in the blood of Jesus that you received. God’s grace and mercy is still working in your life for the salvation of your soul and body. It is your responsibility to work out this salvation, by continuing to allow God to do the work in you that He desires to do—until you see Him face-to-face!
