The extent of self worship and disobedience among the people of God and even more so among “trusted” men and women of God was brought to the forefront. The abuse of power, position and authority by men and women of God placed in position of leadership, i.e. “candlesticks” is mind blowing. This is why the move of God is not evident in the “church” because people are worshiping their own created God’s instead of the one and only living God. Indeed there must be a shaking because some of the now dead “candlesticks” need to be removed and replaced with live coals from the true altar of God. It feels like we are living in the days of disobedience by the children of Israel; living in a period of the blind leading the blind because they refuse to see or hear what God is saying.

When homosexuality becomes acceptable in the church and blatant violation of God’s precepts are ignored because people prefer to love men over God, to worship men before God and blind their eyes to what the Word of God says. We need a revival and the time is now. God has found a man in Pastor Rodney Howard Browne. A man, who is willing to take a stance for God no matter what the price may be. To be a witness of this living example, to be a part of his army, I am so privileged to be at the River at such a time as this, to be a part of the beginning of the rumblings of revival. I can hardly wait for the middle because there may be no end to this.  –Rosemarie M.

During soul winning class this week we were admonished to pray for sick people while we were out soul winning, particularly people with dislocated shoulders. Toward the end of the time that our team went soul winning, we came across a lady whose car was parked in a handicap parking space. At first she wanted us to pray for some of her relatives, but when we asked what we could pray for concerning her, she said that we should pray for her arm because part of it had gotten torn in her left shoulder area. We prayed for her shoulder and she felt better. There was an interesting call that I received while I was in the call center from a gentleman that said that he had died from a heart attack while he was in the hospital. He said he went to hell first and then to heaven for a brief time.

He knew he was not supposed to stay in heaven long, but would come back one day. So, he returned to earth and came back from the dead. He knew he needed to get some more things right with God, so he wanted assurance that he would go to heaven, so I prayed with him, and he received Jesus as Savior and Lord! While I was in the call center, a lady called and asked me to pray for one of her relatives. During that time the Holy Spirit convicted her that she needed to rededicate her life to Christ. She got saved and stated that she had never received the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues. So, I prayed with her and she not only spoke in other tongues, but also received the fire of God in her life as well!-Kammini C.

God touched me as I was serving in the call center on 01/05/2011 as the Great Awakening was going on.  I was full of the Holy Spirit and the fire of God came upon me,  I   started bubbling in tongues then all of a sudden  a certain a gentleman called and asked to be prayed for so that he could be filled with the fire of God and be healed from pains he was experiencing when swallowing saliva, I prayed for  him and god healed him instantly and he was speaking in tongues. After that another lady called and asked to be prayed for so that she could be filled with the Holy Ghost and Fire, she wanted God to anoint her with power so that she can be a witness for Jesus.

I prayed for her and in the process off that I was filled again and my whole body was cold and I was shacking from inside out. On the following day I was in the meeting and as pastor Rodney preached, the power of God came upon me and I started laughing. This was a very depressing day for me and I was sad because of some issues that were going on in my family, but Gods mercies reached me in my deepest being.  I was able to laugh at the devil for what he was trying to bring over my heart and onto my family and on  the following day, I was free from depression. I give God all the glory and I thank God for this ministry and the anointing of God upon his servants. –Anonymous

My Goodness,  It has been amazing being here at the Tampa GAT! I work in the Outreach dept. everyday, Launching out teams of Soul winners every single day! It is crazy watching all the states on the map at revival.com continue to populate! People are getting the hang of the Great Commission and really catching the fire and spreading it all over the world. The numbers of salvations keep pouring in, the phones continue to ring and it is just amazing to see this really happening!  It is an amazing blessing to be right here in the middle of this powerful move of God that is changing not just America but the whole WORLD! People are being saved, set free, delivered, filled with the Holy Spirit, I mean lives are being changed and impacted out on the streets of Tampa!

Pastor Rodney is preaching powerful messages holding nothing back! It is straight word, straight forward! The power of the Holy Spirit smacks the whole congregation every night and its not just in the building! We are getting thousands of calls with people testifying of the power of God traveling through the air ways and reaching them wherever they are! They are being healed, filled with the spirit, delivered and set free, experiencing a true tangible touch of God right in their homes! I can’t express how thankful I am for Pastors Rodney and Adonica for being obedient to the call and spreading this revival to the hearts of America. God is Moving and all I can say is it is a blessing to be here and set under this anointing!-Virginia H.

These are a couple of things that are going over in my spirit today from what is happening in this Great Awakening in America and the mass revival that is occurring in the body of Christ. I have to say this is absolutely wonderful the move of God that where smack dab in the middle of. I have so much to say about everything, God told Pastor Rodney Howard-Browne what would occur in these last days “ That ministries all over the world would begin a work and another will finish it and combination and unity will occur then anytime else in the History of this planet ”, more or less of what he said. There will be a continuation of the move of God until Jesus comes to gather his church together and until that happens then we must occupy until he comes. The days are evil and we need to redeem the time we have on this earth. Jesus said, “The harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few, so pray to the lord of the Harvest that he would bring forth laborers.”

The empowering of the Holy Spirit is needed in each and every believers life not only to live a victorious life over sin that does happen in are life once where Born-Again. Romans declares sin has know more dominion over us, Paul wrote in Ephesians where seated with Christ in heavenly places all things are under are feet. But Jesus said we shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost has come upon you and you shall be witness unto me. Well what is a witness? What did we witness? Who do we witness too? Well a witness is by definition to see, hear, or know by personal presence and perception: to witness an accident. An individual who, being present personally sees or perceives a thing; a beholder, spectator, or eyewitness. So ok great now we know what a witness is ok, well as a Christian what then did we witness? The fact that Jesus came into are hearts by faith and confession towards the fact that he died for us and rose again. Where a new creation in Christ Jesus all things have passed away all things have become new. Where set free from this present darkness and brought into This Present Glory, where sin abounds even more grace abounds. That is what we have witnessed and God has made it available to every person on this earth. Salvation Jesus Said, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’

 That is what we have witnessed the reality of the power of God at work with in us. So now its comes down to the nitty-gritty who do we then witness too? The lost of course those who haven’t called on the name of the lord the Bible declares there is appointed to every man once to die then the Judgment so in turn God is willing that none should parish but all should come to the knowledge of the truth where called to preach the gospel not suggest or hint at it but to preach to every creature He said to us, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.” So there it is the reason for the season, where to proclaim this Good News its God commandment to love one another so if we just love one another will lead men to repentance. This Great Awakening Starts in us then its moves through us as where obedient to the word and Spirit of God. This nations with-in a nation will be shaken to its very core and its starts with us. –Chris P.

The Lord has been touching, changing, transforming me since the first day of the Great Awakening.

I am very thankful for the broadcasts and for what the Lord is doing in my life and through my life. A greater boldness has risen up in me and as I am sharing the Gospel, winning souls, expanding His Kingdom, it is increasing through me.

Most people love to hear the GOOD NEWS of the Gospel! It is so much fun to be a partner with Jesus and see what He does. I love it! I was getting ready to type that I even like to answer the phone when the telemarketers call because they will get saved!

Ha! Ha! The phone just rang and I stopped typing to answer it.
Guess what…it was a telemarketer and…Emily got saved!

“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever.” Psalms 23:1-6 NKJV

David’s first calling was as a shepherd boy and he had first hand experience of what makes a good shepherd. David knew that he was fully responsible for his sheep. They were completely dependent on him. Without him they were helpless, vulnerable and exposed and he could not afford to let them down. David knew how committed he was to his sheep. He killed a lion and a bear for them! He had confidence in the Lord as his own Good Shepherd. He knew that everything he  needed, God would provide. Jesus is our Good Shepherd (John 10:11). He is our Great Shepherd (Hebrews 13:20) and our Chief Shepherd (1 Peter 5:4). We are completely dependent on Him for our guidance, provision and protection. We are not likened to sheep because we are fearful or unable to lead ourselves, but because we obediently follow Him.

Verse 1: The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

• Psalms 34:9-10 NKJV, “Oh, fear the Lord, you His saints! There is no want to those who fear Him. The young lions lack and suffer hunger; But those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing.”
• Psalms 84:11 NKJV, “For the Lord God is a sun and shield; The Lord will give grace and glory; No good thing will He withhold From those who walk uprightly.”

Verse 2: He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters.

The only true peace and contentment comes from obediently following the Lord. If we rebel and disobey Him, we are just hurting ourselves and depriving
ourselves of our own blessings.

• John 4:14 NKJV, “But whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.”
• John 7:37b-38 NKJV, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.  38 He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.”

Verse 3: He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake.

The Lord promises healing, restoration and peace to our souls. When we follow the Lord in righteousness and
holiness, we choose to walk a path of blessing. If we walk in His paths, we will avoid the pitfalls of life. 

• 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 NKJV, “Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.”
• 3 John 1:2 NKJV, “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.”
• Hebrews 12:14 NKJV, “Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord.”

Verse 4: Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

Only the Lord can deliver from death. When death threatens our life, He is there to escort us safely through to the other side, just like Daniel in the lion’s den and the three Hebrew boys in the fiery furnace. We need have no fear. The rod was for the sheep’s enemies and the staff was for the sheep’s protection.

Verse 5: You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over.

Before ancient feasts in the Middle Eastern culture, it was customary to anoint heads with perfumed oil. Hosts were also expected to protect their guests at all costs. The Lord, like a good Host, offers His protection to us even when enemies surround us. Not only does He promise us food and drink, but He promises us plenty of it – cups overflowing! 

• Psalms 104:15 NKJV, “And wine that makes glad the heart of man, Oil to make his face shine, and bread which strengthens man’s heart.”

Verse 6: Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever.

As God’s sheep and children, we can have confidence that God’s goodness and mercy will follow us to the end of our life and we can have faith that in the next life we will dwell in God’s house forever.

When you recognize the good shepherd, follow him!

Ft Walton Beach, Great Awakening Tour. First testimony: Two Saturdays prior, we went to a Crestview nursing home and prayed for many of the residents. The following Saturday, we came back to the same nursing home. As we were waiting for the Activities Director, the nursing assistant that was our escort before, came up to me and told me that one of the gentlemen that I had prayed with and who had received salvation, passed away a few days earlier. The nursing assistant also said that he was at peace when he died. Second testimony: The experience I received while ministering to the nursing home residents who had different physical limitations, i.e. limited comprehension, limited speaking abilities, and limited physical abilities, helped me to reach a lady in her 20’s who was deaf and could not speak. While in Pensacola, we passed the bus terminal. The three of us got out of the car, walked over and started witnessing to the people outside of the terminal. After we had finished talking to everyone, we went inside and started witnessing. One of the people I talked to was a lady who signaled to me that she could not hear or speak. Because of the experience I had received earlier, this fact did not deter me. I sat next to her and took the gospel script and showed her line by line what she needed to know to be saved. As I ran my finger under each sentence, I paused and looked her in the eye for acknowledgement that she understood; she shook her head affirming so. This back and forth transaction happened several more times. When we came to the part “I’m saved, I’m born again,” I stopped and pointed to her and then to the card with the motion of the whole card, signifying, “because you have read and acknowledged what you have read.” I then ran my finger under the “I’m saved, I’m born again, and I am going to heaven because I have Jesus in my heart.” I looked at her and she had the most beautiful smile on her face. Her countenance changed, and there were tears in her eyes. The training and encouragement I received from Lisa and Brock while learning to witness to the residents in the nursing homes, projects, bus terminal and more, has been so valuable. They are such a blessing, and so on fire for God. Thank you so much! Kim C.

A little over a year ago, I was hit from behind in my car. Since that time I have experienced headaches that I thought were sinus infections, and turned out to be not. I had sinus CTs done and showed nothing. I saw an ENT specialist and he asked me if I had had a blow to the back of the head. And then I realized that all of these symptoms started after the accident. This would be diagnosed as Post Concussion Disorder/Syndrome, and could last a long time. However, by Jesus stripes I am healed. Even though the headaches had become infrequent, I had noticed that sometimes when I would look at something, or would see the object in my head…I would keep coming up with other words for the object. About 24 hours before Pastor Rodney had spoken about people needing their brains healed, the Holy Spirit helped me recognize that there definitely was still something wrong and I clearly asked Him to heal my brain in Jesus name.

I just want you to know, that the Power of God came down on me hear in my living room when Pastor Rodney spoke this and I am healed. I wanted to tell you immediately that evening, but your website went down and I couldn’t get back in until the service was almost over. But better late than never. So, praise the Lord. I love you all so much and you bring me such joy. I do have one question that I hope can be answered quickly. Will you at all be having any Great Awakening meetings closer than Dix Hills, New York? Great Awakening Tour City #14 Maui, Hawaii

My first time–I loved talking with people about the Lord I found most everyone that I talked with believed in the Lord Only one man, a senior, got up and walked away

This truly was the day that the Lord had made. From the early morning high level of expectancy was vibrating in the air as well as in the hearts of the whole congregation. This really was fulfilling of statement „ No man left behind „ Everybody in the church did the part to get the whole work done. That was like a total mobilization in the local branch of Gods army! And most important that anyone got mobilized absolutely voluntarily-no one was forced to fight on Jesus side…this was the day of fighting against opression and depression.

Though the outcame of this battle was foreknown -it`s a great pleasure to recall things that happened on this Sunday. First of all hunderads of people got saved , delivered from Satans domain and brought into the Kingdom of God. Holy transition directed by the Lord Jesus himself and accomplished through His body – The church ! What an awsome privilege and great experience it is to be in His will, respond to His call and be a part of what He is doing. What a sight it is to see little children along with their parents happily coming for toys and impatiently unripping them. Smiles, joy , laughter heard everyvhere …almost heavenly atmosphere. No fear, no depression- really a piece of heaven brought down to the earth in just an ordinary day…Somebody may say: „Wait ! you`re wrong ! It`s not just an ordinary day –it`s a Sunday in the church ! „

It is an ordinary day in a sense that anybody has ability to create such a day full of joy , happiness and presence of The Lord . All we need is to strech out our hands and our hearts to the others and Jesus himself will bless our touch and make any day like a gift that is more wonderful than we even could imagine.

Great Awakening Tour City #14 Maui, Hawaii

–Alaska— 2 guys got saved–one started crying

Imagine going to bed hungry or even as a child waking up with nothing under you Christmas tree. Even better yet imagine a world where you feel completely unloved. This is what Dr. Rodney Howard-Brown of the River Tampa church in Tampa Fl is working against. I am not only proud to be a part of this group under Dr. Rodney but I am honored to see how many lives’s we are truly changing.

At the River Church Dr. Rodney has set up an amazing food ministry were they feed over 500 families a week with a box of food that will last them through the week. This part of the ministry is my favorite; we see people’s lives changing every day when we go out telling them about the food ministry. To see mothers eyes go from sad to happy when she realizes that she will have food for her children that week.

This past week we handed out toys to needy families and in the process of doing that we had 374 people turn their lives over to God. I unfortunately did not get to be a part of this even. However I wish I was there the testimonies of my friend about the event touched my heart so much hearing how people were crying and thanking them or how kids who just need someone to show them love got just that.

You see for me what this church is doing to reach out to families in the city of Tampa is amazing to see. How many people can say that they truly have impacted the lives of people around not only by giving those gifts but by loving them and showing them how much Jesus Christ loves them? How many people can say that they have made an impact on the people around them and know that beyond a shadow of a doubt that those people will forever be changed? This is what Dr. Rodney Howard- Brown is doing in Tampa Fl he is making a change in the lives of people in the community and the city but not just any change he is making the greatest change of all he is showing the people that he truly cares about them.
