Last summer I came down to visit my sister and mom, and came to The River with them. The Holy Spirit convicted me, and I immediately began to change my life. I rededicated my life to the Lord and stopped drinking. I still lived and went to college in NC, so I was only able to visit Florida a couple of times a year. Within a few months of my new walk with the Lord, I knew I wanted to move to Florida. I still had a lease on an apartment, until this summer, so I had to stay and wait it out. I took this time to press into God. I watched The Great Awakening every night as God continued to work in my life and change me. The more I pressed in, the more I hated my old life. As I began my walk with the Lord, I lost all of my friends from the world. This only made it easier to leave it all behind.

I moved to Tampa in June of this year. Summer Camp Meeting changed my life. I became even more hungry for God. The lord then planted Bible school on my heart. At the time, I had already made arraignments to be a transfer student at USF, for my senior year. However, God had another plan for me. I decided to sow the money for the application fee for RBI and prayed that if it was the Lord’s will for me to go then the money would come back to me. Two days later my application fee was paid for and I had changed my whole life path. God even blessed me with a new bag and expensive laptop, to confirm I was making the right choice.

Since Bible school has begun I already notice so many changes in myself. I notice that in the small things there is a big change. I have more patience, integrity, wisdom and self?control. I am also learning how to walk in love towards everyone around me. I am happier than I have ever been. The Lord has already done so much for me and in me that I can only be excited to see what He has in store for my future….Joy M.

My pastors didn’t approve of me coming, so I started to pray to God to show them I had to be here. God did just that, he spoke to my Senior Pastor and my church blessed me for my plane ticket and my first month rent of housing. As I was flying to Florida I was nervous but I just kept asking God for strength and peace, because coming to a new place all by your self is not easy. Leaving your comfort zone is never easy, but I could say to anyone, “It’s so worth it”. Once I arrived I was ready to start classes but they told us classes won’t start yet until after revival week. After one week of revival god decided to make another week of revival, which I was super happy about because God knows that I needed another week, there was so many things God still needed to break inside me.

Now in that week God little by little started to break down many walls that I didn’t even know I had. I thought this whole time I was good and I didn’t need anything, but I was so wrong. On Thursday September 8^th God did something amazing in my life. Not only in mine but I believe in all the students in RBI/RSW. I have been asking God to show me how I could be a true giver, not because I wanted something in return but just because I wanted to be a true blessing to someone else. On Thursday every student started to give anything that God would put in their hearts.

When I made the decision to go to R.B.I God started opening up doors left and right in my life. I had no idea how I was going to pay for it or where I was going to live so I just believed God and Pastor Rodney ended up giving me a scholarship which was a huge blessing. When I went looking for apartments the manager of the first apartment I checked out went to R.B.I a few years ago. She ended up giving my roommate and I a great deal. God has really had his hand upon me and has been doing a quick work in my life. On July 31st he dropped it into my spirit to go to bible school and within that week I got a scholarship and an apartment. Since coming to bible school God has been doing miraculous things in my life. Orientation week was amazing! I got touched by the fire of God and my life will never be the same again.

God is downloading things into my spirit and I am being used like never before. There is a holy boldness on the inside of me to go out and preach the gospel and I have such a burden for souls. 34 people have already come to know Christ as their Lord and savior through one on one ministry. Three of them got baptized in the Holy Ghost and three others have gotten healed by praying the word of God. My prayer life has grown. I have become so yielded to the presence and the things of God and God has been speaking to me. I am already learning so much and it is not just head knowledge but it has gone directly into my spirit. Praying out the things I have learned has been awesome and God has been moving in power. I am stepping out of my comfort zone and I am amazed about what God has been doing. My life has already drastically changed in the past 3 weeks and God is doing some amazing things in and through me. This next 9 months is going to change my life forever and I can’t wait to see what God has in store for me. I am yielding completely to his work!

My life has change so much, since watching the Great Awakening. I pray to re-dedicate my life to Christ Jesus, at the beginning of this year. I was really complacent. I always wanted to witness and wont people to the Lord. I use to try going out to the street and talk to people about the Bible and tell that God loves them. And I had no result, when I saw all testimonies on TV, and that they winning people to the Lord, I had to get down to Tampa to get trained. Since I had started used the script, I have led around about 150 people to the Lord. In 20 years before that,  probable about 10 people to Jesus Christ.

I wanted to go to the Bible College since I was 18 years old, I always had reason not to go. Any how since I’ve being here I have more peace on the inside, and more of sensitivity to Holy Spirit. I now listening to more worship music, and when I do the Holy Ghost comes over me. I stated to laugh and cry. That didn’t happen before. I can feel the Holy Spirit welling up  in my stomach. I’ve also got more of hunger for just wanted to read the Bible. I believe my mind is been renewed by the Word of God every day. I feel the presence of God every time I witness to people, and I learning a lot of sowing and planting seed.

Well, I would like to talk about the last week. I have had an awesome experience with God. The Camp Meeting  was powerful, I felt the presence of God. In every service I felt the Holy Ghost in my spirit. I felt the fire of the Holy Ghost over my body and spirit. I cannot forget the day that God touch’s me. Was Monday night, I told God, I told the Holy Spirit. I want You to touch me, not tomorrow, but today. I want you to touch me today.

As I close my eyes and start to pray in tongues. I felt the hand of God touch my stomach. As He touch’s me right there at the service, where I was, I start to scream loud, very loud, and I began to speak in other tongues very loud too. I could stop, It was so good. I felt the anointed; I felt peace inside of me. I will never forget this day.  God is real; yes, He is so real. -Daniel P.

Who shall go up into the mountain of the Lord? Sin cannot enter or stand in the presence of God and neither can anyone who is full of sin. Who can ascend into Heaven? Who may enter the Father’s Holy Presence?
 
Only those who:
 
1. Have clean hands
• Hands that have not committed sin – sin free
• Hands that are innocent – blameless; clean; clear; exempted; free; guiltless
• Psalms 15 NKJV – Lord, who may abide in Your tabernacle?     Who may dwell in Your holy hill? 2 He who walks uprightly, And works righteousness, And speaks the truth in his heart; 3 He who does not backbite with his tongue, Nor does evil to his neighbor, Nor does he take up a reproach against his friend; 4 In whose eyes a vile person is despised, But he honors those who fear the Lord; He who swears to his own hurt and does not change; 5 He who does not put out his money at usury, Nor does he take a bribe against the innocent. He who does these things shall never be moved.
• No matter what we have done in the past, we can repent and have a heart-change, receive God’s forgiveness, have our sins washed away by the blood of Jesus and have the power of sin broken over us. We can have a brand new start and begin to do right from that moment on.
 
2. Have a pure heart
• A heart empty or void of sin and iniquity
• A sincere heart; beloved
• A choice, clean, clear, pure heart
• Psalms 51:7-11 NKJV – Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. 8 Make me hear joy and gladness, That the bones You have broken may rejoice. 9 Hide Your face from my sins, And blot out all my iniquities. 10 Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me. 11 Do not cast me away from Your presence, And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.
• Malachi 3:2-3 NKJV – “But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner’s fire And like launderers’ soap. 3 He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver; He will purify the sons of Levi, And purge them as gold and silver, That they may offer to the Lord An offering in righteousness.  
• Matthew 5:8 KJV – Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
 
3. Do not lie, have idols or live a selfish, ungodly life
• 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 NKJV – Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, 10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.
• Galatians 5:19-21 NKJV – Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
• Hebrews 12:14 KJV – Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.
 
4. Love truth
• Revelation 21:8 NKJV – But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”
 
Have you received Jesus as your Lord? Do you live to do His will and not your own? Heaven welcomes those who are perfect – not perfected by their own goodness, but who have truly repented, been washed in the blood of Jesus, been forgiven and who continue to serve Him in the beauty of holiness.
 
But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels, 23 to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect, 24 to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel.  Hebrews 12:22-24 NKJV
 
The twelve gates were twelve pearls: each individual gate was of one pearl. And the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass. 22 But I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. 23 The city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God illuminated it. Is your name written in the Lamb’s Book of Life? Only those with clean hands and a pure heart, whose names are written in there, will be able to enter that glorious City of God, to live forever with Him, filled with and surrounded by His joy and His peace. The reward of having clean hands and a pure heart is that you will receive blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of your salvation!

First of all, I might mention that I am the Norwegian translator of the website www.revival.com . I have been lecturing of Nordic languages at Swedish universities; Gothenburg, Uppsala and Stockholm. I started translating in June 08, after a visit to the Mjondalen Holy Spirit and Fire Conference (Friday June 6.th), where my wife and I (then backsliders) met the Lord once again.  But during the last year we have been facing several attacks from the enemy, and you probably wouldn’t believe it if I told all of this to you. But: December 16.th 2009 I attended your online web transmission from Tampa, and I sent a prayer request concerning the unpleasant recent turmoil of our lives, and especially I asked you to pray for a house for us to live in and a financial breakthrough. The story behind this, is the following: We, my wife and I, have been living under an enormous pressure for quite a while, as we have been having arguments concerning tax payment with authorities of two countries, Sweden (we live in Sweden right now) and Norway (in which we lived until 2006, as we both are Norwegians). Both Norway and Sweden have been wanting us  to pay taxes to their country, and we ended up paying tax to both countries for three years. Now, it turned out to be impossible to go on like this, and we have had to sell our house and  found  ourselves confronting a financial breakdown. But the prayer request changed the situation in a week! Last saturday we were offered to move into a house in Norway, and today we received  a telephone call from Norwegian tax authorities, in which they apologized the way they had been treating us for three years, and signalized a total payback of the taxes we – unrighteously – had been paying for these years!  So, your online prayer for our situation changed everything radically, and we are praising the Lord for his mercy! And, we have to thank you for praying for us! God bless you all, Rodney & Adonica, and also Eric and his precious wife. Hallelujah! God is good to us!

Great Awakening Tour City #14 Maui, Hawaii

My first time–I loved talking with people about the Lord I found most everyone that I talked with believed in the Lord Only one man, a senior, got up and walked away

This truly was the day that the Lord had made. From the early morning high level of expectancy was vibrating in the air as well as in the hearts of the whole congregation. This really was fulfilling of statement „ No man left behind „ Everybody in the church did the part to get the whole work done. That was like a total mobilization in the local branch of Gods army! And most important that anyone got mobilized absolutely voluntarily-no one was forced to fight on Jesus side…this was the day of fighting against opression and depression.

Though the outcame of this battle was foreknown -it`s a great pleasure to recall things that happened on this Sunday. First of all hunderads of people got saved , delivered from Satans domain and brought into the Kingdom of God. Holy transition directed by the Lord Jesus himself and accomplished through His body – The church ! What an awsome privilege and great experience it is to be in His will, respond to His call and be a part of what He is doing. What a sight it is to see little children along with their parents happily coming for toys and impatiently unripping them. Smiles, joy , laughter heard everyvhere …almost heavenly atmosphere. No fear, no depression- really a piece of heaven brought down to the earth in just an ordinary day…Somebody may say: „Wait ! you`re wrong ! It`s not just an ordinary day –it`s a Sunday in the church ! „

It is an ordinary day in a sense that anybody has ability to create such a day full of joy , happiness and presence of The Lord . All we need is to strech out our hands and our hearts to the others and Jesus himself will bless our touch and make any day like a gift that is more wonderful than we even could imagine.

Great Awakening Tour City #14 Maui, Hawaii

–Alaska— 2 guys got saved–one started crying

Imagine going to bed hungry or even as a child waking up with nothing under you Christmas tree. Even better yet imagine a world where you feel completely unloved. This is what Dr. Rodney Howard-Brown of the River Tampa church in Tampa Fl is working against. I am not only proud to be a part of this group under Dr. Rodney but I am honored to see how many lives’s we are truly changing.

At the River Church Dr. Rodney has set up an amazing food ministry were they feed over 500 families a week with a box of food that will last them through the week. This part of the ministry is my favorite; we see people’s lives changing every day when we go out telling them about the food ministry. To see mothers eyes go from sad to happy when she realizes that she will have food for her children that week.

This past week we handed out toys to needy families and in the process of doing that we had 374 people turn their lives over to God. I unfortunately did not get to be a part of this even. However I wish I was there the testimonies of my friend about the event touched my heart so much hearing how people were crying and thanking them or how kids who just need someone to show them love got just that.

You see for me what this church is doing to reach out to families in the city of Tampa is amazing to see. How many people can say that they truly have impacted the lives of people around not only by giving those gifts but by loving them and showing them how much Jesus Christ loves them? How many people can say that they have made an impact on the people around them and know that beyond a shadow of a doubt that those people will forever be changed? This is what Dr. Rodney Howard- Brown is doing in Tampa Fl he is making a change in the lives of people in the community and the city but not just any change he is making the greatest change of all he is showing the people that he truly cares about them.

Great Awakening Tour City #14 Maui, Hawaii

I spoke with a Catholic I spoke with a Buddist, she has gone to St. Anthony school (catholic) she accepted Jesus and gave offering of $20 one woman in bed–after praying told me her mind tells her she could not be forgiven and I assured her that she is! she was very appreciative and thankful!!

This past Sunday was amazing! It was incredible to see the harvest of souls come in, and being touched by the love of God, not just by the message – but also through the more natural means… a bag of food, Christmas gifts, and even a “hello”. It was awesome to see people, which we had gone out into the community and invited, at the River – responding to the altar call; giving their lives to Jesus. It’s easy to get into the mindset that we are just blessing these people, but these people are blessing us; after talking to a few of them on the streets, and listening to their individual stories, the things that they’re going through – and then seeing them, presented with the love of God that is the Gospel, hope restored to their eyes, is priceless. It’s what it’s all about.

I think that what Pastor Rodney and the River are doing is incredible. Setting the tone of what the church SUPPOSED is like. Not just keeping the Gospel inside the church, where the people who already know God come on Sunday’s – but taking it out into the community, bringing light into the dark places. Before coming here for Bible school, I had never been soul winning – but now that I’ve seen it, I’ve experienced it – it’s become such a passion of mine! The love of God is not just for the church or for a select few people. It’s for everyone. And taking the message of Jesus, to the streets, is for everyone in the church! It’s a rewarding experience, to have an outreach, like the one this past Sunday. To see the fruits of your labors right there before you. Laying down everything that they came in with, at the foot of the cross, and seeing lives changed right before your very eyes. Pastor Rodney understands this, and it is such an awesome privilege being able to serve under his leadership.
